Puji syukur saya panjatkan kehadirat Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, atas rahmat-Nya sehingga saya dapat menyelesaikan penyusunan makalah yang berjudul Tutorial cara membuat Blog. Penulisan makalah ini merupakan salah satu tugas yang diberikan dalam mata kuliah Aplikasi Komputer di STMT Trisakti Jakarta.

Dalam Penulisan makalah ini saya merasa masih banyak kekurangan baik pada teknis penulisan maupun materi, mengingat akan kemampuan yang saya miliki. Untuk itu, kritik dan saran dari semua pihak sangat saya harapkan demi penyempurnaan pembuatan makalah ini.

1. Sejarah Blog

“Sejarah Blog”
Blog pertama kemungkinan besar adalah halaman “What’s New” pada browser Mosaic yang dibuat oleh Marc Andersen pada tahun 1993. Mosaic adalah browser pertama sebelum adanya Internet Explorer bahkan sebelum Nestcape. Bulan Januari 1994 Justin Hall memulai website pribadinya “Justin’s Home Page” yang kemudian berubah menjadi “Links from the Underground” yang mungkin dapat disebut sebagai Blog pertama seperti yang kita kenal sekarang. Hingga pada tahun 1998, jumlah Blog yang ada masih sangat sedikit. Hal ini disebabkan karena saat itu diperlukan keahlian dan pengetahuan khusus tentang pembuatan website, HTML, dan web hosting untuk membuat Blog, sehingga hanya mereka yang berkecimpung di bidang Internet, System Administrator atau Web Designer yang kemudian pada waktu luangnya menciptakan Blog-Blog mereka sendiri.

2. Pengertian Blog

“Pengertian Blog”
Blog adalah kependekan dari Weblog, istilah ini pertama kali digunakan oleh Jorn Barger pada bulan Desember 1997. Jorn Barger menggunakan istilah Weblog untuk menyebut kelompok website pribadi yang selalu diupdate secara kontinyu dan berisi link-link ke website lain yang mereka anggap menarik disertai dengan komentar-komentar mereka sendiri.
Dengan kata lain, Weblog dapat diartikan sebagai kumpulan website pribadi yang memungkinkan para pembuatnya menampilkan berbagai jenis isi pada web dengan mudah, seperti karya tulis, kumpulan link internet, dokumen-dokumen(file-file WOrd,PDF,dll), gambar ataupun multimedia. Ada pula yang mendefinisikan blog sebagai situs yang sifatnya pribadi, yang lebih menitik beratkan kepada penggambaran dari orang yang membuat blog itu sendiri. Seiring dengan perkembangn weblog dari waktu ke waktu, pengertian weblog akan berkembang seiring dengan ide-ide dan kemauan para Blogger. Blogger adalah para pembuat Blog. Dimana, melalui blog yang dibuat oleh blogger, kepribadian blogger menjadi lebih mudah dikenali berdasarkan topik apa yang disukai, apa tanggapan terhadap link-link yang di pilih didalamnya. Oleh karena itu Blog bersifat sangat personal.

3. Jenis-Jenis Blog
• Blog politik: Tentang berita, politik, aktivis, dan semua persoalan berbasis blog (Seperti kampanye).
• Blog pribadi: Disebut juga buku harian online yang berisikan tentang pengalaman keseharian seseorang, keluhan, puisi atau syair, gagasan, dan perbincangan teman.
• Blog bertopik: Blog yang membahas tentang sesuatu, dan fokus pada bahasan tertentu.
• Blog kesehatan: Lebih spesifik tentang kesehatan. Blog kesehatan kebanyakan berisi tentang keluhan pasien, berita kesehatan terbaru, keterangan-ketarangan tentang kesehatan, dll.
• Blog sastra: Lebih dikenal sebagai litblog (Literary blog).
• Blog perjalanan: Fokus pada bahasan cerita perjalanan yang menceritakan keterangan-keterangan tentang perjalanan/traveling.
• Blog mode: Lebih dikenal dengan "fashion blog". Isinya seputar gaya, perkembangan mode, selera fesyen, liputan pameran mode, dan lain-lain.
• Blog riset: Persoalan tentang akademis seperti berita riset terbaru.
• Blog hukum: Persoalan tentang hukum atau urusan hukum; disebut juga dengan blawgs (Blog Laws).
• Blog media: Berfokus pada bahasan berbagai macam informasi
• Blog agama: Membahas tentang agama
• Blog pendidikan: Biasanya ditulis oleh pelajar atau guru.
• Blog kebersamaan: Topik lebih spesifik ditulis oleh kelompok tertentu.
• Blog petunjuk (directory): Berisi ratusan link halaman website.
• Blog bisnis: Digunakan oleh pegawai atau wirausahawan untuk kegiatan promosi bisnis mereka
• Blog pengejawantahan: Fokus tentang objek di luar manusia; seperti anjing
• Blog pengganggu (spam): Digunakan untuk promosi bisnis affiliate; juga dikenal sebagai splogs (Spam Blog)
• Blog virus (virus): Digunakan untuk merusak

4. Manfaat Blog

Di bawah ini, ada 10 manfaat blog. Beberapa manfaat yang SP tuliskan di bawah ini merupakan sebuah pengalaman yang sudah pernah SP alami selama nge-blog. Berikut 10 manfaat blog tersebut. 
1. Berbagi tulisan, baik dalam bentuk cerita, pengalaman dan pengetahuan lainnya. Sehingga orang lain yang membutuhkan, lalu menemukan tulisan Anda, merasakan kebermanfaatan blog Anda. Hitung-hitung cari pahala.
2. Sarana untuk mempromosikan produk barang atau jasa. Dengan kata lain, blog bisa Anda manfaatkan sebagai toko online.
3. Dapat menghasilkan uang. Penghasilan tersebut bisa anda jadikan sebagai penghasilan sampingan ataupun penghasilan tetap, asalkan Anda benar-benar serius dalam mengembangkannya. Misalnya mengikuti PPC, bisnis Afiliate, dan lain sebagainya.
4. Mengikuti kontes. Dewasa ini, berbagai kontes dan lomba, sudah menjamur, baik itu berupa kontes SEO, ataupun kontes review, sehingga memungkinkan para blogger berkesempatan untuk menjadi pemenang dan mendapatkan hadiah.
5. Sarana untuk berkreasi, misalnya Anda suka menulis, edit foto, Fotografer, dll. Anda bisa share dan tunjukkan kepada dunia hasil karya Anda.
6. Menjadi media curhat. Di blog Anda bisa bercerita apa saja yang ingin Anda ceritakan. Tentunya sangat lebih bijak jika itu dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap pembaca Anda. Sehingga pemikiran-pemikiran Anda dapat anda curahkan dengan plong.
7. Menjadi media untuk mempopulerkan sesuatu atau diri sendiri. Banyak orang sukses, berawal dari iseng-iseng nge-blog.
8. Mencari teman. Dalam dunia blogger, kita tidak bisa hidup sendiri, tanpa blogger lainnya, sebagai blogger tentunya membutuhkan blogger lain untuk saling sharing, bertukar link, dll.
9. Belajar untuk lebih baik. Biasanya sesama blogger akan saling berkomentar satu sama lain, sehingga kita bisa mengetahui kekurangan-kekurangan dalam konten yang kita share.
10. Yang terakhir adalah memotivasi kita, untuk selalu memberikan yang terbaik kepada pembaca. Karena sebagai manusia, tentunya kita ingin dipuji dari yang terbaik yang bisa kita berikan kepada pembaca/orang lain. Selain itu Anda juga akan berusaha belajar banyak hal.

6. Cara Membuat Blog di Blogspot


Syarat utama sebelum Anda membuat blog di blogger adalah memiliki alamat email yang masih aktif, jika Anda belum membuat email, silahkan baca tutorialnya di cara membuat email di gmail atau membuat email di yahoo. Sekarang saya asumsikan bahwa Anda sudah memiliki alamat emai di gmail, untuk itu kita langsung saja untuk membuat blog.

1. Silahkan Anda kunjungi http://blogger.com/

2. Kemudian lihat di kanan bawah, rubah bahasa menjadi bahasa indonesia agar lebih mudah
 

3. Masuk/login menggunakan username/nama pengguna serta password gmail anda ( akun email anda bisa juga untuk login ke blogger).
 

4. Isilah formulir data Anda yang terlampir seperti:
• Nama tampilan : isi dengan nama yang akan ditampilkan pada profile blog anda.
• Jenis Kelamin : pilih jenis kelamin Anda, misalnya: Pria.
• Penerimaan Persyaratan : Ceklis sebagai tanda anda setuju dengan peraturan yang telah di tetapkan oleh pihak blogger. Sebaiknya baca terlebihdahulu persyaratan dan ketentuan yang diberikan pihak blogger agar Anda mengerti.

5. Klik tanda panah bertuliskan “Lanjutkan”. Kemudian klik "Blog Baru"
 

6. Selanjutnya isi formulir data blog Anda pada form yang disediakan seperti:
• Judul : Isi dengan judul blog yang Anda inginkan, misal : Panduan dan Tutorial Blogger 
• Alamat : isi dengan alamat blog yang di inginkan.
• Template : pilih template (tampilan blog) yang Anda disukai
7. Lanjutkan dengan klik tombol “Buat blog!”.
 

8. Sampai tahap ini blog Anda sudah selesai dibuat, namun untuk menghindari anggapan spam oleh google sebaiknya anda mulai membuat artikel, minimal 1 postingan. Untuk membuat postingan/artikel ikuti tutorial blog berikut ini.

10. Isi judul dan artikel yang ingin Anda postkan di blog
 

11. Setelah tulisan Anda selesai lalu klik "pratinjau" untuk melihat hasil sementara, jika sudah sesuai maka klik "publikasikan"

12. Selesai dan saya ucapkan "Selamat" publikasikan juga bog baru Anda pada sahabat atau orang terdekat Anda bahwa sekarang anda sudah memiliki blog

PENUTUP

1. Kesimpulan

Dari  uraian diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa blog merupakan kumpulan website pribadi yang memungkinkan para pembuatnya menampilkan berbagai jenis isi pada web dengan mudah. Seperti karya tulis, kumpulan  linnk internet, dokumen – dokumen, gambar ataupun  multimedia blog  juga bisa disebut sebagai situs yang sifatnya pribadi , yang lebih menitikberatkan kepada penggambaran dari orang yang membuat blog itu sendiri.









2. Saran

Untuk menciptakan sebua blog maka kita harus mempunyai sebuah account atau alamat email. Oleh karena itu sebelum membuat blog disarankan untuk membuat sebuah account email terlebih dahulu. Selain itu kita harus menentukan fungsi dan tujuan dari blog yang akan kita buat sehingga blog yang dibuat benar – benar bermanfaat.
